Tennessee > Unity Run and Walk4th Annual Unity Freedom Run and Walk
Join us for a half marathon to show our unity as we celebrate Juneteenth and honor Mrs. Opal Lee, the “grandmother of Juneteenth” who campaigned for decades to make Juneteenth the federal holiday that it is today. Lindsay Bisset said it best, “Freedom is a journey we take together as a country, and this race is a reminder of our commitment together”. Juneteenth is a holiday for all Americans and this run is a great way to show our unity.
All 3 distances (and the Mrs. Opal Lee Walk) are “out and back” courses starting at the Hubert Fry Center.
Medals for all finishers. Overall and Age Group awards -- Age Groups: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 & 70+ (Subject to change pending attendance).
